Although pizzerias are littered all over the place, many having their own theory about how excellent pizzas should be made, it is one pizzeria that has stood true to its roots.
It’s not surprising that among its customers are purists who believe that good pizzas could only be made in the traditional manner with coal-fired brick ovens.

History
Grimaldi’s, established in New York in 1990 and changed ownership that same decade. A chain of pizzerias found across the US enjoying acceptance by a sizable number of pizza consumers.
Named no.1 pizzeria in New York by Zagat survey, Grimaldi’s also made the list compiled by Food Network of the five best pizzerias in the US. They have six locations in total.
Review
The red and white checkered table covers give you a befitting welcome, a large room reminiscent of the original. An aroma of crusty flavour of oven-baked pizza fills the air.
You don’t get just the aroma, the pizza is crunchy, a testimony to the thin-crusty pizza the pizzeria is known for.
Grimaldi’s is not the place to get lost on options. Rather you’re welcomed with cheese and meat in the most perfect balance. The ‘Brooklyn Bridge’, a tribute to the original, is to anticipate.
The employees have grown to become family this is no fluke as there are decent systems in place to ensure this comes naturally. Hence, providing a fast response to orders.
