Farmer Boys had it’s beginning in the hills of Cyprus and the hearts of five brothers who had grown up working the land. They understand the importance of food that is farm fresh which is why Farmer Boys restaurants only use fresh, high quality ingredients. The chain has also won many awards authenticating the tastiness of their signature burger, their motto is “World’s Greatest Hamburgers”. History

As aforementioned, the idea for this chain started long before the opening of its first location. The Havadijas brothers grew up in Cyprus during the 1960’s, where they worked the family farm and learnt the art of grilling meat to perfection. It was this upbringing that gave them all a true appreciation of the hard work required to produce a really great product, as well as the importance of fresh ingredients.

After immigrating to the US the brothers operated and owned various different restaurant chains before finally opening the first Farmer Boys location in Perris, California, in 1981. The chain was focused on providing fresh ingredients that were locally sourced to ensure the best flavors in their products. Even though the restaurant was a hit, by 1995 they had expanded steadily to a modest 8 locations across California.

It was shortly after their 16^th year that franchising of the chain began and their expansion continued at a much higher rate. Only 10 years later, in 2005, they announced the opening of their 50^th location. Their first restaurant outside of California was opened in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008.

Farmer Boys have won the “Best Burger in the Inland Empire” award for 3 consecutive years, among various other awards. They are totally focused on providing top service and flavorful, well-cooked, high-quality products. They now have over 90 locations across California and Nevada and with more plans to expand they are certainly one to keep an eye on.

When you enter any of their locations, you’ll arrive into a warmly lit area, decorated in muted Mediterranean colors.  They operate a casual dining style service or you can always choose to try their drive-thru, the quality is just as good as if you had eaten in. The staff are welcoming and efficient ensuring you receive your order promptly whichever way you decide to dine.

Their menu has plenty of options to satisfy the whole family: burgers, sides, salads, wraps, sandwiches, desserts, drinks and a lil’ farmhand range. Their breakfast range offers: burritos, French toast, egg plates, omelets and daybreak sandwiches. Every item is prepared with the same high level of quality control and care.

Their signature item is also their most popular and you have plenty of styles to choose from: Farmer’s, Big Cheese, Bacon Boy, Natural Avocado Bacon Cheese, Natural, Bell Ringer, Barn Burner and Market. Each burger is cooked to perfection and designed with a specific flavor combination in mind and will leave you in meat and flavor heaven.

Their prices are slightly on the high side although they’re still fairly affordable. A combo, which includes a burger, a regular drink and your choice of two sides will cost between $5 to $10. Their breakfast selection, salads and sandwiches are all around the $7 mark. Despite the price, the quality and flavor is absolutely undeniable, so stop off at the next Farmer Boys you spot, for an unforgettable exceptional burger experience.
