History
Don Lamberti leased a country store from his father in Des Moines, Iowa in 1959, naming it Casey’s—a name taken from the initials of his gas supplier and friend, Kurvin C. Fish.
Casey’s General Store has since grown to over 2,000 locations, owing to its trustworthy entrepreneurship. In 2017, they were recognized as the Outstanding Corporate Partner of the Year at the Special Olympics ceremony in Ames, Iowa.
