History
It started as an iron foundry in 1803. But, George Wood moved to Pennsylvania in 1890 where he started the Wawa Dairy Farm that has grown into a multi-billion company.
Wawa now has over 800 convenience stores with about 500 offering gasoline in New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Florida, Washington, D.C. and Virginia.
Review
The store’s always well-lit and clean. The atmosphere is what you may expect from a convenience store. But, their organized snack station makes them standout.
If you’re looking for affordable and good tasting food, this is the place for you. They have a massive food selection for every kind of customer.
I love their Sizzli Breakfast Sandwiches. They also have hoagies, wraps, and a variety of beverages. You can always try something new on your future visits.
Waiting isn’t much of a problem since their staff seem to be trained to move quickly since they’re a convenience store.
