California Pizza Kitchen Restaurants are a unique concept that started in Beverly Hills in 1985, and was well known for their amazing hearth created pizzas. The owners of the concept decided to take their love of fresh ingredients and create innovative new pizzas with ingredients like Jerk Chicken and many others.
Customers came back in droves for the fresh taste as well as for the ingredients that would make them fall in love with the concept that is a southern California concept. The restaurant was so popular that after it first opened in CA, there were over 250 locations in 31 states.

History
A large part of the company’s success was its focus on being a place of family gathering as well as a place of corporate gathering. All groups large and small were welcome to come and try these revolutionary pizzas. They also quickly expanded to salads, and other innovative and healthy foods.
The company quickly had a presence in over 11 countries and 31 states. The company opened an IPO in 2000 and was a publically traded stock. After an acquisition of the chain in 2011, the company was no longer a publically traded stock, but continues to be a favorite of all customers.

The menu is also very affordable and can provide a great meal for the entire family. You are able to feed an entire family of 4 on about 40.00 at CPK. There is a great deal on your meal and you will be very happy with all of the choices that the restaurant offers.
CPK has continued to expand in locations all over the world and is a great location for taking friends or family to kick back and relax. It is a place to be able to socialize and have fun when you are heading out for a relaxing evening. Whether you want a great flatbread or a great glass of wine, you will be able to find it.
