History
Black Angus Steakhouse was founded back in 1964 by Stuart Anderson. Since then, it has been bought and sold by several companies until it was eventually purchased by Versa Capital Management in March 2009.
As of this writing, the steakhouse has 45 locations in America. 31 locations of which can be found spread across California.
Review
This restaurant looks pretty much like a cowboy saloon of old with its wooden posts, dividers, and ceiling. It even features country style music.
Meals at Black Angus Steakhouse are sizeable and cooked to perfection. I particularly loved the smoky taste of the steaks we ordered. There’s also a bar if you want to drink a few bottles of booze or wine.
I’d highly recommend ordering the rib eye steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and mac n’ cheese. Aside from it being filling, the flavor and juice of the steak just explodes in the mouth. It was certainly a delectable experience.
Even with a reservation, you might have to wait a bit due to the many people who line up to eat at Black Angus Steakhouse. But let me tell you, it will be all worth it once you’re seated by the very friendly staff.
