History
John Galardi, a former employee of Taco Bell, founded Wienerschnitzel in California in 1961. He began establishing restaurants outside California in 1980s.
As of 2018, the restaurant has grown to over three hundred locations in the United States alone. To quote, it has always been known as the “World’s Largest Hot Dog Chain.”
Review
With the unique architectural structure as well as the yellow and red dominant colours of the establishment, this restaurant surely is difficult to miss. The place is so inviting and irresistible that it makes you want to order food every time you pass by a Wienerschnitzel store!
All the foods in their menu are delectable from French fries to hot dogs, and even down to desserts! Ask regulars about their favorites and you’re likely to get different responses.
All their hot dogs are bestsellers including the Chili Cheese Dog, the Junkyard Dog, and the Chicago Dog. The Tastee-Freez soft serve treats, also owned by Galardi, are definitely a must-try too.
Staff members are all very efficient that’s why “waiting time” is never a problem at Wienerschnitzel stores. You’ll get your order fresh and hot each time.
