History
It was in 1969 when Dave Thomas founded the restaurant in Ohio. His inspiration was the Kewpee Hamburgers restaurant where he used to eat when he was still living in Michigan.
It has over 6,000 locations worldwide as of 2018. Over the years, Wendy’s has received many awards including environmental awards for minimizing energy consumption in all its locations.
Review
We are all too familiar of the Wendy’s logo that features one of Dave Thomas’ children. This is probably one of the reasons why children are enticed to eat here.
It is globally known for serving originally flavoured sea salt fries and square burgers. Over the years, its menu items have expanded to be able to cater to more customers.
Its bestselling burgers include Baconator, Dave’s Triple, and Dave’s Double. You must also try their baked potatoes that come in different types such as the Chili & Cheese Baked Potato, Bacon Cheese Baked Potato, and Sour Cream and Chive Baked Potato, among others. Of course, you cannot leave Wendy’s without ordering Frosty, their original soft serve ice cream.
