Sam Fox and Dr. Andrew Weil partnered to open the first True Food Kitchen in 2008 in Phoenix. They believed delicious food could still be healthy.

There are now 30 open or soon to open locations. The chain won a MenuMaster’s Award from Nation’s Restaurant News in 2017.


The green booths and plants in the modern, well-lit dining area are inspired by the healthy menu. Big letters on the wall remind you that you’re getting true food.

The menu rotates seasonally. The dishes have quite a few super ingredients and healthy vegetables, fruit and protein to pack in flavor.

You can choose a salad or mixed bowl. The creative takes on pizza are worthy of an order. They put a nice spin on classics like lasagna and tacos.

Customers rave about the atmosphere and service. People love the fresh concept. The enthusiasm is genuine for this growing chain.
