History
Taco Time was established from a humble beginning by Ron Fraedrick in 1960. He was a Navy Veteran of World War 2. He was in the business of distributing petroleum products before quitting to get involved in making and serving his fresh, quality Mexican quick food to the group of college students in Eugene, Oregon his hometown.
His first walk-up eatery was neighboring the University. He used to work on his special recipes and spices and measuring them to prepare a perfect food and flavors. A second restaurant was later opened, and Ron was still the original maker of most of the foods with different flavors that he handled together with his kids.
The unique flavors and taste of Taco Time were a success that led to capitalists wanting to copy Ron’s success. Ron teamed up with one capitalist in 1962 to start franchising the trend in western Washington. While in the following decade around 48 more franchised of the same restaurant were opened all over seven states in western.
At the end of 1970’s, TacoTime was supporting more than 150 locations. The Taco Time International Inc. was started in 1978, as a result of a restaurant been started in Alberta, Canada. As the century came to an end, about 40 years since its beginning the company had 225 local locations and much more in Canada

The franchises are located mostly in the US. The highly significant ones are the ones in Oregon. Time for the eatery changes depending on the flow of guests but most of the time is fast. The weekdays are somehow busy than the weekends, but this changes seasonally.
