History
Rafferty’s is a restaurant and bar chain located in the Southeast area of the country. Dan Davis, its founder, launched the chain in 1981 in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Because of its success, the restaurant and bar has opened 18 more locations in the area. The chain continues to grow, with 2 or 3 stores opening up every year.
Review
The vibe of the restaurant is rustic and relaxing. It references its history with its décor. It features an open kitchen so you can watch the preparation of meals.
The food is served warm, using fresh ingredients. The meals are always seasoned well. The selection of comfort food ensures that you will like at least one item in their menu.
My favorites are the steaks and the chicken tenders. The chicken tenders are breaded just right and are fried golden brown. The fries are crispy and seasoned to a tee.
The staff is efficient and helpful. The wait time to be seated didn’t take long. People there are friendly and will welcome you with a smile.
