About
The concept behind the company was the brainchild of Nicholas Eckerman, a culinary enthusiast and self-proclaimed foodie. He together with his father Rodney Eckerman and business partners Irv and Jeff Zuckerman laid the foundations in 2011.
Earning a popular following in Southern California in just three years, the company soon expanded after receiving an investment from industry giant Buffalo Wild Wings. It has more than 40 locations in the U.S. and 3 locations in Mexico.
Review
PizzaRev restaurants have a simple and sleek unpretentious design. Customers fall in line and have the pizza assembled to their specifications on the spot by the staff.
Each pizza made has a set price, allowing you to modify pizzas according to your tastes without worrying about charges for toppings, though sides such as salads are ordered separately.
You have the option to build pizzas from scratch or choose from specific classic recipes. The pizzas themselves are usually thin-crust; the double option, however, may not be sufficient for those of you who like it thick.
Although the cooking time for each pizza is approximately three minutes, the custom nature of most orders means that lines can be long in peak hours.
