History
The chain was founded by Bill and Vanessa Whitaker in 1989 in South Lakeland, Florida. It was sold to Publix Supermarkets in 2007, then to Healthy Food Concepts in 2011.
There are currently about 20 Crispers locations throughout Florida. The restaurant also has an online ordering system and offers catering delivery as well.

The chain maintains a casual dining ambience and has both indoor and outdoor seating. Meals are ideal for lunch and good for both children and adults.
