History
Bill Miller started as an egg and poultry business back in 1950. In 1953, Bill Miller opened Bill Miller’s Bar-B-Q, which started out as a small fried chicken take-out restaurant, which then eventually became a barbecue restaurant.
From its roots as a small family business, Bill Miller’s Bar-B-Q has now over 73 restaurants in San Antonio, Austin, and Corpus Christi Area.
Review
During peak hours, the place is usually buzzing with people. However, the place remains well-maintained and the turn over for every table is fairly quick.
Though the idea is uncommon as there aren’t many barbecue fast food chains around, Bill Miller’s is more than just a novelty. They serve delicious food that people love– especially their breakfasts.
Though the place serves great barbecue, regulars also suggest the fried chicken. Their breakfast tacos are also best sellers!
The staff is helpful and friendly, and they also deliver quick service. There might be a bit of waiting in line, but it’s nothing beyond your average wait time.
