History
The first restaurant, named Broken Egg Café, opened in Old Mandeville, Louisiana in 1996. The second location was opened 2 years later and was aptly called “Another Broken Egg Café.”
There are now more than 30 restaurants in operation across the country and over 70 more locations in the stage of development.
Review
The café has an inviting, casual atmosphere and the place is usually packed during Sunday brunch. Most of the locations have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Everything on the menu has a scrumptious, hearty taste that never fails to give you a delightful dining experience. No wonder the restaurant rarely receives negative reviews from customers.
Their specialty, Biscuit Beignets, is one of the stand-outs on the menu. Other choices include French toasts, pancakes, benedicts, omelettes, waffles, salads and sandwiches.
