History
This burger chain was founded by Walt A. Anderson and Edgar Waldo “Billy” A. Ingram in September 13, 1921 – almost a century ago.
White Castle has nearly 400 locations and they operate in 13 states. Time Magazine dubbed the slider burgers as the “most influential burgers of all time.”
Review
Being the pioneer of the fast food restaurant business, you get treated to the original fast food restaurant ambiance. The design and setup of course have been updated and tweaked a bit to meet modern standards.
The burgers here are nothing short of delish! They’re gentle with a touch of salt. They’re soft and slim and they live up to their moniker – they slide right in.
Top of the list on their menu of course are the burger sliders (original and cheese) with fries on the side. Onion chips and chicken rings also pair up nicely with the burgers.
Service is at par with other fast food chains. Meals are prepared really fast under 5 minutes.
