History
Mark Ha is the president and founder of Sakura Japanese Steak and Seafood House. He opened its first branch in 1988.
The restaurant currently has 21 locations. It also ranked #2 in Best Asian Restaurant in America in Consumer Reports Magazine.
Review
Sakura has a wooden interior, as well as kabuki masks and walls showcasing Japanese culture. Some seats are placed around a table where chefs and servers prepare the dishes.
The food has good serving size. Moreover, every dish is presentable. You will taste the balanced mixture of seasonings and the natural taste of meat in every bite.
You need to try their Hamachi Carpaccio together with Shrimp Tempura Appetizer. Your taste buds will also love the Salmon Skin Roll and Luck Clover Roll.
In general, their chefs are entertaining and funny so you won’t get bored while you wait for your food. The servers are also welcoming towards guests.
