History
D.P. Dough was a food truck that grew into a specialty restaurant in Springfield, Massachusetts in 1987. It was founded by Dan and Penny Haley, a mother and son partnership.
From then on, it grew further to more than 25 locations in college towns across the United Stated. They provide late-night food delivery service targeted to student populations.
Review
D.P. Dough has the typical fast food chain feel and is reminiscent of other popular pizza chains. The food served is worth the money you doled out for one.
They offer a wide variety of calzones that can be customized to fit your needs. They also have potato tots, chicken wings and flavored bread sticks to complete your meal.
You can’t go wrong with any of their calzone offerings. Its best to add their garlic butter sauce with your order for that extra oomph. Their cheesy, bacon tots are also a hit.
All orders are served within short waiting times and the servers are always helpful and cheery even late at night!
