History
A group of many people that included entrepreneurs and restauranteurs had put together their experience and opened their first location in 1996. The first location for Colton’s was in Conway, Arkansas.
Today, the chain has 37 restaurants located in Kansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
Review
Colton’s is designed for large family visits or simple dinner for two. The chain is very accommodating for every type of crowd.
The food that is served is always served fresh. The cooks want you to think that this is the best you have ever had. Plus, if you think it could be done better, send it back and the cook will redo your order. Satisfaction of the food made is a must for this restaurant.
Many guests of the chain recommend the sirloin as it is one of their best items on the menu. Also, recommended is the blooming onion as it is fried to perfection. However, the menu does have many options including salads, soups, and seafood.
When visiting the restaurant on a non-busy night you can expect a 15-20-minute wait for your food to be prepared. However, this varies by location and how full the restaurant is. Keep in mind that you will always be treated like family by the staff and you will always get the food you are expecting with a smile!
