History
The seafood restaurant chain started its operations back in 1996. The first location was in Monterey, California and ran through the partnership of Rusty Pelican Restaurants and Viacom.
As of 2015, the chain has 45 restaurants in the US and overseas. It is presently run by Landry’s Inc. since its acquisition in 2010.

It’s all about enjoying freshly made good food in a simple and homey ambiance. This family-friendly dining spot has a down-home charming style. It has seating for small and large groups.
Everything on the menu is packed with flavor. Seafood are fresh and cooked to order. It’s perfectly spiced to bring out the natural seafood flavor.
Their seafood is excellent, with bestsellers named after the movie’s characters such as Jenny’s Catch. Their bestseller is Forrest’s Seafood Feast. Salads and fries are excellent, fresh, crisp and full of flavor.
The staff are very engaging so expect to be drawn in for short trivia games. Hailing a server is made more fun too. To catch the attention of one, you have to hold up a sign saying, “Stop, Forrest, Stop”.
