History
John Turner founded the Taco House in 1969. He later sold the rights to James Woodson and Harold Holmes. They changed the name to Taco John’s to honor the founder.
The restaurant serves nearly 500 locations across the United States. They have all sorts of unique initiatives, such as the Mr. Taco award and the Potato Olés trophy.
Review
Upon entering the restaurant, the smell of taco meat would immediately tease your senses. Unfortunately, you might also end up feeling greasy with all the oil they’ve been using.
The signature dish of Taco John’s is topnotch, and their nacho cheese sauce adds flavor to whatever you dip into it.
Potato Olés, tacos, chicken quesadilla, and their nachos shouldn’t be missed. By the way, they have this happy hour offer from 2 to 5 PM, which is a great deal.
The staff is very patient and helpful towards customers, especially to first-timers in the restaurant. Since it is a quick-fix West-Mex fast food chain, there is only minimal waiting time.
