History
Silver Diner was created by Robert (Bob) Giaimo and Ype Von Hengst in 1989. They wanted to start an American restaurant that was family oriented and had a touch of traditional restaurant meets fast food. There are currently 15 locations operating throughout the United States. They guarantee three things to their customers: prompt service with a smile, food that will always be 100% right, and a sparkling clean restaurant.
Not only does this restaurant serve various food options, it’s also an award-winning diner. In 2013, Silver Diner won a MenuMasters Award in healthful innovations for their kids menu.
