History
The first TooJay’s branch – founded in 1981 is located in Palm Beach. The deli chain stemmed from their passion for recreating classic New York deli flavors and recipes.
From one branch, TooJay’s now has 27 branches throughout Florida. They have also received two Foodie Awards for Best Take-Out and Best Deli from the Orlando Sentinel.
Review
TooJay’s branches offers a no-frills atmosphere, with their food and bakery displays doing all the talking. The booths and seats are spaced sufficiently apart and the lights encourage easy conversation.
Overall, the eating experience is great. Many customers go for the deli sandwiches, the pies, and the fries. The potato pancakes are also a delectable treat.
