History
Chevys Fresh Mex was founded by Warren Simmons. The chain’s first restaurant was opened in Alameda, California back in 1981.
As of this writing, this Tex Mex restaurant has expanded to 38 branches scattered in key locations in America. Most of the branches are owned by Real Mex Restaurants, while others are franchised.

Where do we start? Chevys Fresh Mex offers a wide range of Mexican cuisine for you to choose from, which we guarantee are all delicious. You simply have to keep coming back to try the freshness of each delicacy.
That said, must-try offerings include Chevys Fresh Mex’s Tacos and Burritos or if you’re having a hard time choosing from the menu, you can simply order the Fresh Mex Sampler. As for drinks, you cannot go wrong with their cocktails, especially the frozen margaritas.
The staff is really friendly and make sure that you are well served. You will be seated immediately (depending on seat availability), while waiting time for food can be anywhere between five to 15 minutes.
